The High Court has temporarily freed Liam Lawlor from prison so he can defend himself during a Dail debate today.

The High Court has temporarily freed Liam Lawlor from prison so he can defend himself during a Dail debate on his resignation today.

Mr Lawlor’s lawyers argued this morning that their client is legally entitled to defend himself during the debate and reminded the judge that the beleaguered TD has not been charged with any criminal offence.
