Farmers lose proof of outstanding Ellis debts

Farmers who say they are owed thousands of euro by Sligo-Leitrim TD John Ellis have admitted losing the documents which prove their claims.

Around 80 farmers were left unpaid when Mr Ellis’s company, Stanlow Trading, collapsed 16 years ago.
