The Revenue Commissioners are to receive details of bogus non-resident account holders from financial institutions.

The banks will begin the process in March, with the first batch of information due to be delivered by the end of the month.

The move follows a High Court order issued in December against those who failed to disclose illegal offshore accounts during the Government’s latest tax amnesty.
