The march to commemorate the Bloody Sunday shootings has begun with thousands of people gathering in Derry to retrace the route of the march that ended in the Bloody Sunday shootings 30 years ago.

The march to commemorate the Bloody Sunday shootings has begun with thousands of people gathering in Derry to retrace the route of the march that ended in the Bloody Sunday shootings 30 years ago.

The march will pass along the same route of the civil rights march that occurred on January 30th 1972 and beforehand the marchers paused briefly to hold a memorial service at Rossville Street where many of the victims of Bloody Sunday died.
