Kate Walsh joins Progressive Democrats

Kildare county councillor Kate Walsh has announced her intention to run for the Progressive Democrats in the upcoming general election.

Ms Walsh will contest the election in Kildare north.

Mary Harney, the Tanaiste and PD leader, praised Ms Walsh’s calibre and standing today, saying she had major political potential in north Kildare.
