Cox re-appoints Banotti

Fine Gael’s Mary Banotti has been re-appointed to her former position as mediator for transnationally abducted children in the European Parliament.

The President of the Parliament, Ireland’s Pat Cox, said that his colleague had proved herself to be an outstanding performer in this area and wanted her to remain in the post for the entire duration of his Presidency.
