British Nuclear Fuels, the company that operates the Sellafield reprocessing plant, has released a statement today insisting that the controversial facility on England’s north-east coast does not pose a danger to Ireland.

British Nuclear Fuels, the company that operates the Sellafield reprocessing plant, has released a statement today insisting that the controversial facility on England’s north-east coast does not pose a danger to Ireland.

BNFL said there is no immediate risk of a terrorist attack on Sellafield and, even if there were such an attack, the effects would be minimal.
