Omagh convicted to be sentenced today

The Special Criminal Court will today pass sentence on the only man convicted in connection with the Omagh bomb, Louth man Colm Murphy.

45-year-old Murphy of Ravensdale, Dundalk, was found guilty on Tuesday of conspiracy to cause the bombing in August 1998.
