Threats sent to nationalist community leaders
Two leading spokesmen for nationalist residents' groups in the North have been sent bullets and written loyalist threats through the mail.
Breandan MacCionnaith and Gerard Rice were informed of the threats by police officers at their homes in Portadown and Belfast last night.
Two parcels were intercepted at the main postal sorting office in Belfast containing bullets with notes attached.
Mr MacCionnaith is spokesman for the Garvaghy Road residents, while Mr Rice represents the Lower Ormeau Road community.
