Belfast bomb scare declared a hoax

A bomb scare at the west Belfast home of Sinn Fein Assembly member Alex Maskey was declared a hoax this afternoon.

Bomb disposal experts spent hours examining a suspicious device left in the front garden of Mr Maskey’s house before declaring it an elaborate hoax.
