Bobby Molloy to contest upcoming election
Junior Minister Bobby Molloy, the man who oversaw the deregulation of the taxi industry, has announced plans to seek re-election in the upcoming general election.
There had been speculation that the veteran Progressive Democrats TD would not contest another poll.
His decision to seek re-election this year is another boost for the PDs, who have already secured Attorney General Michael McDowell and former IFA president Tom Parlon as election candidates.
