150 new jobs for Wexford

At least 150 new jobs are to be created in Co Wexford.

The medical device company, ClearStream Technologies, is expanding its Enniscorthy plant, where 97 people are already employed.

The expansion follows a buy-out of the former US-owned firm by its Irish management in July of 2000.

Tanaiste, Mary Harney, says it is a major boost to the Wexford economy, which has been badly affected by recent job losses.
