Political leaders reject Sinn Fein coalition

Sinn Fein’s chances of joining in a coalition Government suffered a setback when all the main party leaders rejected the idea.

Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern said that even if Sinn Fein severed all links with the IRA it would still take some considerable time before Sinn Fein could be trusted in Government, or to support the Government from the back benches.
