Sinn Fein members to discuss IRA decommissioning
Sinn Fein is holding a special internal conference in Co Meath today to discuss the concern of rank and file members’ about IRA decommissioning.
The Sinn Fein leadership admits it did not do enough to prepare the ground for the IRA initiative.
The conference in Navan will also discuss the peace process and the continuing loyalist sectarian campaign.
Sinn Fein are angry about the British government’s response to the to the UDA’s pipe-bomb onslaught in the last 12 months.
Discussions will also take place about Sinn Fein’s response to constant pressure from Britain and Washington D.C. to join the policing board.
Also on the agenda will be talks for a plan towards a united Ireland.
