Taoiseach disputes evidence of euro rip-offs

Taoiseach Bertie Ahern, has defended the Government’s decision not to impose a price freeze on retailers during the euro changeover.

The Consumers Association of Ireland said earlier today it has "clear evidence" that many retailers are using the changeover to rip off their customers.
