Reid finally meets with Justice Barron
The Northern Secretary is to meet with the head of the inquiry into the Dublin and Monaghan bombings, Justice Henry Barron, later today in London.
The long-anticipated meeting comes after months of pressure from relatives of victims and the Government here.
The British government has always blamed the huge number of files that it had to trawl through for the delay. 33 people were killed on May 17, 1974, when three car bombs in Dublin and one in Monaghan went off within minutes of each other.
Victims' relatives have always claimed British intelligence colluded with loyalists to plant the bombs.
