Cooper-Flynn denies FF de-selection

Mayo TD Beverly Cooper-Flynn has denied she has been de-selected by Fianna Fail as a party candidate for the forthcoming general election.

Deputy Cooper-Flynn has been outside the parliamentary party since last May, when she was expelled after she lost her libel action against RTE.

In the run-up to the election, she is denying speculation in Mayo that she has been de-selected.

"There is no indication that anything like that is happening," she said.
