Small bomb explodes in Belfast

A bomb has exploded this afternoon after being thrown over the peace line in north Belfast.

A bomb has exploded this afternoon after being thrown over the peace line in north Belfast.

The device went off at the junction between Duncairn Gardens and Hallidays Road but no one was injured in the blast.

The device has been described as being small and not much damage was caused.

Police are now examining the remains of the device at the scene.
