Govt approves construction of wind farm in Co Wicklow

The Government has approved the construction of the world’s largest wind farm off the coast of Co Wicklow.

The Arklow Banks Farm will be built five miles out to sea and is expected to eventually provide 10% of Ireland’s electricity.
