Man arrested over Limerick murder still in custody

Gardai in Limerick are continuing to question a man in connection with the murder of 24-year-old Grainne Dillon, whose body was found in a hotel in the city yesterday.

The 26-year-old man was arrested under section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.

A preliminary post mortem has revealed that Ms Dillon, a native of Cork, died from gunshot wounds.

Her body was found in Jury’s Inn Hotel on Dock Road early yesterday morning.
