Hundreds complain about euro inconsistencies

Carmel Foley, the Director of Consumer Affairs, has confirmed that her office is receiving an average of 20 complaints each day about retailers displaying incorrect euro price conversions.

However, Ms Foley said: “Any errors that were found were small and were uniformly a result of human error rather than deliberate malice.”
