Tallaght shooting: Man due in court

A man is due in court this morning in connection with a fatal shooting in Tallaght on St Stephen’s night.

48-year-old Joseph Cummins was shot dead as he walked along Old Blessington Road.

Two other people, a man and a woman, who were questioned by gardai, were released from custody overnight.

A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
