Local authorities accused of profiteering in Euro changeover
Local authorities are being accused of taking advantage of the Euro changeover by rounding up motor tax charges.
The Small and Medium Enterprises Association (ISME) says it has had a number of complaints about this type of profiteering.
One example of this is motor tax on a 1.6litre car, which is going up by 60 cents in the changeover.
ISME Chief Executive, Mark Fielding, says it goes totally against the stated Government policy.
