Two men and a woman have been attacked by three masked men in a house in Ballycastle, Co Antrim.

Two men and a woman have been attacked by three masked men in a house in Ballycastle, Co Antrim.

It is believed the woman was not the target of the attack but was attacked as she tried to intervene and stop the beating.

In Antrim town police are investigating what appears to have been a petrol bomb attack on a house in Suffolk Square, there are no reports of any injuries.

Meanwhile in Belfast a 34-year-old man has suffered gunshot wounds in what appears to be a punishment attack in a laneway off the Limestone Road.
