Woman's body found near convent in Monaghan

The body of a woman in her sixties has been found on a laneway near a convent in Ballybay, Co. Monaghan.

The discovery was made at about 5.30pm and the area has been sealed off.

Gardai have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the woman’s death.
