An Post seeks resolution of euro dispute

An Post has said it is available for talks with the Irish Postal Workers Union over the dispute which has stalled the introduction of ‘euro starter kits’ designed to familiarise the public with the new currency.

Staff at more then 1,600 post offices throughout Ireland have refused to handle the euro kits because of a dispute with management over compensation for the extra workload in handling euro transactions.
