Five families in false child sexual abuse cases seek publication of Medical Council report.

Five families, against whom false allegations of child sex abuse were made by a leading doctor, are expected to seek the publication of a Medical Council report into the case at the High Court today.

The ‘Fitness to Practice Committee’ decided last night to put the decision of whether or not to publish the report to a full meeting of the Medical Council in January.

The families are extremely angry and are asking the High Court for help. Eleven children were involved in these cases, some of whom were removed from their homes, but later returned.
