IMC to decide in Dr Woods case

The Irish Medical Council will decide tonight whether any action is appropriate against Dr Moira Woods.

Dr Woods was found guilty of professional misconduct after making false claims of child sexual abuse against a number of individuals.

She could be suspended or struck off the medical examiner because of her actions.

The IMC will also decide tonight on whether to publish a report of its findings about Dr Woods’ conduct.
