A DOCTOR who investigated cases of sexual abuse will be at the centre of a Medical Council inquiry.

SEXUALLY abused children are having to wait up to a year to be clinically assessed by specialists, a leading child protection group said yesterday.

PARENTS accused of child abuse by Moira Woods yesterday reacted angrily to comments made by the former child sexual abuse expert.

The Irish Medical Council will decide tonight whether any action is appropriate against Dr Moira Woods.
