Omagh bomb warning "was not handled correctly"

The Police Ombudsman for Northern Ireland, Nuala O'Loan, has said that the Omagh bomb warning was not handled correctly.

She today recommended that a senior investigating officer independent of the Police Service of Northern Ireland should be asked to conduct the Omagh bomb investigation.
