Servisair strike may cause disruptions at Dublin Airport

Thousands of passengers at Dublin Airport could face disruption from today, due to industrial action due to be taken by Servisair ground staff.

Management and unions in the company are in dispute over new work practices and talks at the Labour Relations Commission failed to find a breakthrough.

SIPTU is also angry at reports that Servisair is considering suspending the striking workers and bringing in external staff to carry out the work.
