Wexford survivors may be allowed to stay - O'Donoghue
The Minister for Justice has indicated that the illegal immigrants who survived the Wexford tragedy may be allowed to stay in Ireland if they so wish.
John O'Donoghue said any applications for asylum by the five will be treated with sympathetic and humane consideration.
The condition of the survivors who remain in hospital is said to have been improved.
Meanwhile, attempts are continuing to formally identify the eight who died in the container at the weekend.
