Sugar beet supply to resume as dispute ends

The three-week-old sugar beet dispute has ended after farmers and Irish Sugar agreed a new deal on beet prices.

The breakthrough came during talks chaired by the Tanaiste Mary Harney and Minister for Agriculture Joe Walsh at Dublin Castle today.
