FG to disrupt Dail over medical card delay

Fine Gael is expected to seek an adjournment of Dail business this morning to facilitate a debate on the Government’s announcement that the medical card scheme will not be extended until 2003.

Party spokesman Gay Mitchell said it is difficult to take the Government’s new health strategy seriously when it perpetuates the ‘apartheid’ in the system.
