Govt reveals details of 'primary care' overhaul

Health Minister Micheal Martin has revealed details of his new plans for "primary care", which are part of the national health strategy published earlier this week.

Under the overhaul of GP services, patients will be able to access doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, dentists, social workers and other professionals in a 24-hour ‘one-stop shop’ in their community.
