National school pupil contracts meningitis

The Mid-Western Health Board has confirmed a Co Limerick pupil has been hospitalised after contracting meningitis.

The pupil was admitted to the Mid-Western Regional Hospital last night and the pupil’s school has been closed today as a precautionary measure.
