Rowing boat found off coast of Clare

The rowing boat of Dr Nemad Balic, missing for over two weeks, has been found off the coast of Clare.

The man had issued a distress signal during storm conditions on September 30, while attempting a transatlantic crossing.

A search of the vessel by the Kilkee Sub Aqua Club has established that there is no body on board however.
