Omagh accused applies for case to be dismissed

The only man to be charged to date in connection with the Omagh bombing has applied for the case against him to be dismissed because of discrepancies in the garda evidence against him.

A forensic expert told the Special Criminal Court today that tests show that a section of interview notes taken by Gardai was written after the interview took place.
