Young woman killed and a man hospitalised in Co Donegal accident

A 19-year-old woman has died and a man is critically ill in hospital following a road traffic accident in Co Donegal this afternoon.

Gardai say that a car and a lorry were in a collision outside Letterkenny on the Derry road.

Both of the occupants of the car were taken to Letterkenny Hospital and the woman later died. The male driver remains in a critical condition.
