UUP to begin disciplinary action against Weir and Armitage

The Ulster Unionist Party will begin disciplinary action against Pauline Armitage and Peter Weir today after the pair refused to support David Trimble’s attempt to be re-elected as First Minister last week.

The Ulster Unionist Party will begin disciplinary action against Pauline Armitage and Peter Weir today after the pair refused to support David Trimble’s attempt to be re-elected as First Minister last week.

Mr Weir has already served notice that he will be challenging the disciplinary procedures in the courts unless a new panel of members hears his case.
