Jobs initiative for north Dublin after Celestica closure

A training and job placement initiative is being established for north county Dublin to help find alternative work for staff laid off at Celestica, Aer Lingus, Gateway and Morocco.

Tanaiste Mary Harney is expressing her sympathy for the 450 Celestica workers who are to be made redundant, but added she believes they will find other employment in the area.
