Taoiseach to unveil Luas in Dublin

The first Luas tram is being unveiled in Dublin city centre today.

The 30m-long, French-manufactured tram is the first of forty which will service the light rail system on the south side of the city.

The ceremony will be attended by the Taoiseach and the Minister for Public Affairs, Mary O'Rourke.

Both the Labour party and the Green Party are planning protests at the scene.
