Women's Coalition face legal threat from DUP

The Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) is threatening to take legal action against the Women's Coalition if they re-designate themselves as unionists in order to reinstate David Trimble as First Minister on Friday.

The Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) is threatening to take legal action against the Women's Coalition if they re-designate themselves as unionists in order to reinstate David Trimble as First Minister on Friday.

Mr Trimble is struggling to get the backing he needs from his own party and needs the two votes to get him beyond the critical 50 percent mark to be returned as First Minister.
