ERHA asks hospitals to clarify dumping procedures

The Eastern Regional Health Authority has asked all publicly funded hospitals in the eastern region to confirm that their arrangements for the disposal of hazardous waste comply with Department of Health guidelines.

The request comes following the discovery of such waste at two illegal dumps in Co Wicklow yesterday.
