Supreme Court to decide CIE Inquiry fate today
The Oireachtas committee investigating the multi-million pound cost over runs at CIE will find out later today if its inquiry can continue.
The widow of the former CIE executive, Michael McDonnell, is appealing to the Supreme Court to have the inquiry halted.
The High Court has already turned down her appeal. She is claiming the sub-committee is unfair and unjust. The inquiry is expected to resume next week if this appeal is turned down.
