FF attacked for snubbing vital tourism debate
Fine Gael has launched a stinging attack on Fianna Fail for snubbing a debate on the state of the tourism industry following the September 11th attacks in the United States.
Party spokesman Denis Naughten said Fianna Fail showed a disgraceful disregard for those working in tourism.
He said a vital committee meeting was abandoned because of the Fianna Fail snub and the Tourism Minister, Bord Failte and representatives from the tourism industry itself, all of whom were scheduled to give presentations, had to be turned away.
