The future of a number of domestic flights are under threat, according to Fine Gael’s Jim Higgins.

Aer Arann say they can not guarantee services on five domestic routes from next month onwards.

The company employs 200 people and service Galway, Kerry, Knock, Sligo and Donegal.

Higgins says he will question Minister for Public Enterprise, Mary O’Rourke, in the Dail next week over moves to invite new tenders to take over this service.
