Trimble in London for talks with Reid

Ulster Unionist leader David Trimble is in talks with Northern Secretary John Reid in London this afternoon.

Mr Trimble was expected to order his ministers to resign from the Northern Assembly today after a motion to expel Sinn Fein from government failed last week.

However, this was postponed without explanation amid speculation that the IRA is on the verge of announcing a move on decommissioning.
