Aer Lingus workers will lobby Dail Eireann today to impress their plight upon politicians.

Aer Lingus workers will lobby Dail Eireann today to impress their plight upon politicians.

They plan to attend a Dail debate, which will discuss yesterday’s EU Council of Transport Ministers meeting in Luxembourg.

Minister for Public Enterprise, Mary O’Rourke, represented Ireland at the meeting.

A delegation of SIPTU officials and shop stewards are ready to take their fight to Europe on Thursday also, where they will lobby Irish MEP’s and the European Parliament’s Transport Committee.
