MEP John Cushnahan has criticised Ryanair chief executive Michael O’Leary over his plans to mount a legal challenge to any state aid given to Aer Lingus.

MEP John Cushnahan has criticised Ryanair chief executive Michael O’Leary over his plans to mount a legal challenge to any state aid given to Aer Lingus.

Mr O’Leary said he will use the Irish Competition Authority and the European Court of Justice to ensure that Aer Lingus does not receive state aid following the September 11 atrocities in the US.
